NANOBASE PRODUCT PORTAL

Battery Cycler (Charger-Discharger)

NanoCycler_logo_standard_1.png

NanoCycler is a compact, easy-to-use high density battery cycler designed to test standard 2032 coin cells (other types of cells such as pouch cells, cylindrical cells, and 2025 coin cells also testable using optional extenders) in the laboratory environment.

Unnecessary features for everyday laboratory tests such as impedance and current auto ranging are eliminated for NanoCycler, resulting in a low-cost and compact size instrument.

However, size and performance are not proportional for NanoCycler. Measurement accuracy (± 0.1% FS) and data recording rate (1 kHz maximum) meet many crucial research requirements. Simple USB connection and no driver installation simplify setup.

Product No. NANOCYCLER-01

What NanoCycler can do for you

  • Battery charging-discharging test for quality check of battery product development

How NanoCycler and optional product components work together

  • MAIN UNIT (Also works as a main body when connected with optional extenders ; main unit compatible with 2032 coin cells)

NanoCycler-All-Products.png
  • EXTENDER FOR 2032 COIN CELLS FOR TEMPERATURE CHAMBER TEST (Optional)

  • EXTENDER W/ BANANA CABLES FOR OTHER CELL TYPES THAN 2032 COIN CELLS (Optional)

Need to test 2032 coin cells in a temperature chamber?

Connect this optional extender to a main unit.

When this extender is connected to the main unit, the channels on the main unit become non-operational.

Need to test other types of cells than 2032 coin cells?

Connect this optional extender to a main unit and plug banana cables to each ports of the extender, then nip the cells with cable clips.

When this extender is connected to the main unit, the channels on the main unit become non-operational.

Want to test just eight 2032 coin cells or less?

Just connect a main unit to your PC USB port and to the power outlet.

  • Via a convenient USB interface, a multiple number of NanoCycler main units may be connected to a PC via a high-speed USB port hub for a multiple cell test.

How such a compact NanoCycler can deliver a big performance

  • NanoCycler's easy USB interface maximizes user convenience. Not to worry about loose USB cable connections, though. NanoCycler USB cable plugs are made for a tight grip, and a data protection mechanism of the NanoCycler software prevents any data loss.

  • The power consumption of NanoCycler is 80W or lower, which guarantees lower electricity consumption (economical, cost-effective).

  • NanoCycler offers a high maximum recording rate (up to 1 kHz for all channels simultaneously) and extremely narrow recording interval (1 ms ~), which guarantees more dense recording.

  • NanoCycler also offers an excellent accuracy for both voltage and current (+/- 0.02% FS; +/- 0.1% FS typical).

  • Multiple channels may be added to a computer with multiple NanoCycler units.

  • NanoCycler has a compact size (153× 270 × 107 (mm)) for space saving and easy moving and offers easy-to-use software/hardware functions (see the below image for the NanoCycler software overview).
